In modern times it seems that Woden primarily is thought of as a God of war and battle: a stern warrior Who revels in, and stirs up strife. There is no doubt that Wodan is a God of battle; many of His names reflect this function. His is the gift of battle-frenzy, the berserker rage that can take a warrior out of himself, making him invulnerable to wounds and capable of superhuman feats of strength. If Woden stirs up strife, I believe it is to make us strong, for without challenge, we cannot become warriors. He is also known as the Lord of the Slain, the One Who Leads the Hosts of the dead. From ancient times He has been seen leading a tumultuous throng of skeletal huntsmen, horses and hounds through the autumn night sky. Though frightening to Christianised folks, I believe that the origin of the Wild Hunt lies in the cultic gatherings, and spirit "flight" of Wuotan's ecstatic devotees. This more positive aspect of the Lord of the Wild Hunt is remembered in certain folk tales where the frightening leader of the Hunt bestows gold upon a clever or courteous rustic. His name Óski , "The Granter of Wishes" (Wunsch in Germany) is a remembrance of His generosity. Woden's own "Bear-shirt-wearers" the Berserks, no doubt reveled in the powers they gained from the God, even if these powers earned them the fear and hatred of other men. It is reported that the Berserks also "flew": their bodies would lie as if asleep while their souls fared forth in animal form to do battle. After the revels and battles are done, Odin claims His own. Then He becomes the Guide of the Dead, the Ferry Man who shows souls the way through the mysterious landscape of the Other Side. He is particularly suited to this, for He has Himself experienced death. These important functions of the God, however, are not His only ones.

Halliburton Awarded Contract To Build Detention Camps in the US Tom Hennessy writes for the Press Telegram: Maybe a lifetime in the news business makes one paranoid. Or maybe it was just a matter of timing. The story showed up in Tuesday's Press-Telegram, as I was reading "Night," Elie Wiesel's horrifying autobiography of a teenager in Buchenwald and Auschwitz. Appearing on page A5, the story said the federal government had awarded a $385 million contract for the construction of "temporary detention facilities." These would be used, the story said, in the event of an "immigration emergency." Jamie Zuieback, an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), explained such an emergency like this: "If, for example, there were some sort of upheaval in another country that would cause mass migration, that's the type of situation that the contract would address." That sounds a tad fuzzy, but let's concede that the camps do have something to do with immigration, illegal or not. In fact, there already are thousands of beds in place at various U.S. locations for the purpose of housing illegal immigrants. But for anyone familiar with history U.S. or European the construction of detention camps for whatever purpose should prompt a chilling scenario. Same folks The new detention camps will be built by Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR), a subsidiary of Halliburton. The latter, as you likely know, is the defense-related corporate giant with fists full of contracts involving the war in Iraq. Halliburton was led by Vice President Dick Cheney from 1995 to 2000. Democrats in Congress have accused the administration of favoring the company via no-bid contracts. But KBR says the detention contract was competitive. It's horrifying enough that these camps would be used for immigrants, but consider the next possible step...as forewarned back in 2002 in this article by Jonathan Turley in the LA Times. Camps for Citizens: Ashcroft's Hellish Vision Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft's announced desire for camps for U.S. citizens he deems to be "enemy combatants" has moved him from merely being a political embarrassment to being a constitutional menace. Ashcroft's plan, disclosed last week but little publicized, would allow him to order the indefinite incarceration of U.S. citizens and summarily strip them of their constitutional rights and access to the courts by declaring them enemy combatants. There have been proposed antecedents, such as Oliver North and Reagan's Rex-84 plan, as well as Operation Garden Plot. War on Terror is Elite Mind Control

The thinking behind 9-11 was developed by German psychiatrist Kurt Lewin, who became director of the elite-sponsored Tavistock Institute in 1932. In the book "Mind Control World Control" (1997) Jim Keith writes:
"Lewin is credited with much of the original Tavistock research into mass brainwashing applying the results of repeated trauma and torture [of individuals] in mind control to society at large."
"If terror can be induced on a widespread basis into a society, Lewin has stated, then society reverts to a tabula rasa, a blank slate, a situation where control can easily be instituted from an external point."
"Put another way: By the creation of controlled chaos, the populace can be brought to the point where it willingly submits to greater control. Lewin maintained that society must be driven into a state equivalent to an 'early childhood situation.' He termed this societal chaos 'fluidity.'" (Page 44)
Elite planners designed Sept. 11 for its shock value. In the aftermath, they were able to impose a security crackdown, a costly military build-up and a war in Afghanistan and Iraq on a stupified population.
Keith cites another Tavistock researcher Dr. William Sargent author of "Battle for the Mind: A Physiology of Conversion and Brain-Washing" (1957): "Various types of beliefs can be implanted after brain function has been sufficiently disturbed by ...deliberately induced fear, anger or excitement." (48)
This blueprint was laid out long before Sept. 11, 2001. The official story of that tragedy doesn't bear scrutiny. There was no wreckage at the Pentagon. All three buildings were demolished by explosives. Our "leaders" are accomplices to the murder of over 3000 Americans and the destruction of an American icon. The plan is to fold the US into a "world government" controlled by London-based central bankers. Our cultural, economic and political elite is complicit in the ongoing cover up.
FUTURE SHOCK
Most political and cultural events are contrived by the elite for their psychological effect. JFK could have been disposed of in more humane ways. (He had many health problems.) Instead, for its shock value, they shot him down , in Mort Sahls' words, "like a dog in the street."
